Saturday, January 30, 2010 - Today the Johnson Family went to Del Mar and walked around on the beach and enjoyed a nice lunch in Torrey Pines. Daddy has to take some pictures for his photography class so it was fun to be outside for a few hours although with the wind blowing it was a little chilly so I was just trying to keep Miles warm. We had a fun time hanging out as a family. This was Miles' third trip to the beach but his first time to Del Mar. After we came home Uncle Adam stopped by for a little visit and Miles was talking up a storm as usual. Adam had a kick listening to Miles talk and look at himself in the mirror. Shortly after Adam left, we had another visitor come by, our good friend Gina. She stayed for a little bit and had dinner with us.

Thursday, January 28, 2010 - Miles and I went to go visit Grandma Wilma at her work today. Miles got to see his Grandma's office and meet some of her co-workers. Of course Miles was a big hit at her office and everyone kept saying how BIG he was for being almost 4 months old. He goes to the pediatrician next week so I am interested to know how much he weighs! I measured him myself last Friday and he was 24.5 inches so he has grown 4.5 inches since he was born. After we left Wilma's office we stopped by Grandma and Grandpa Tartakoff's house for a quick visit and they enjoyed seeing Miles although he was being a little fussy. Daddy has his photography class tonight so I got Miles to bed all by myself at about 8:15!!! That is the earliest he has gone to bed yet. Last night he didn't sleep too well so hopefully tonight he will sleep like a baby :)

Sunday, January 24, 2010 - Today we had Miles on the floor on his blanket and he nearly rolled over!!! I thought it he was going to go all the way but he just got on his side. I think he will rollover very shortly. Miles put himself to sleep again tonight in his crib. Another successful night!

Tuesday, January 26, 2010 - Miles took a nice bath today and fell asleep during his "belly time" for the first time. I layed him down so he could practice doing mini push-ups with his arms but he fell asleep. We hosted a dinner for 2 of a neighbors tonight, Jessica, Josh and their son Miles and Megan, Winston and their daughter Mckenzie. We had a lot of fun watching the kids run around and it gave David and I a glimpse of what we have in store when Miles turns 18 months. It was fun to see our son Miles and Jessica and Josh's son Miles together.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010 - Miles had so much energy from all the visitors yesterday that he would not take nap today! But I finally got him down in the late afternoon and I snapped a picture of him sleeping in his swing. He looks so peaceful!
