Sunday, January 17, 2010- Today was the first playoff game for the Chargers. Miles wore his little Charger's onsie and did not want to sleep all day. Both Grandma Wilma and Grandma Linda came over as well as Grandpa Dale and Uncle Marcus for the football game. David BBQ'd some turkey burgers and hot dogs. The Chargets lost against the NY Jets but Miles still had a fun day of talking a lot! He loves spending time with his family so he barely slept all day but we got him to bed early around 8:30 p.m. He woke up his usual 3 times during the night.
Tuesday, January 19, 2010 - I had to go to the office today so Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dale watched Miles most of the day. Miles only slept for 30 min. at their house so Grandma had to entertain Miles most of the day but overall I got a good report back from her :)
Thursday, January 21, 2010 - Another rainy stormy day in San Diego. Miles and I stayed in doors all day and I made a turkey spinach lasagna thhat took almost all day to make!! Since I was in the kitchen all day today I propped Miles up on the couch so I could see him from the kitchen, but when I looked back over it at him and managed to scooch himself and fall on his belly, so no more sitting up on the couch for Miles. I decided to try out the bumbo chair today and Miles look adorable! See the picture! He is getting so big! His head was falling forward a little bit but he was mostly able to sit-up in the chair all by himself!!! Oh yes, forgot to mention Leigh and Steve came over for dinner as well :)
Friday, January 22, 2010 - Miles took a bath today and had some visitors over. Grandma Linda and Uncle Adam came by to say "hello" and play with Miles for a little bit. Miles was showing them how strong he was sitting in his chair and lifting up his head during belly time. Miles had a busy day so hopefully he will sleep through the night tonight :)
Saturday, January 23, 2010 - I was changing Miles diaper today and he was smiling as he always does because he likes his tooshie being wiped :) But then I started to tickle him and he laughed out loud for the first time! He had the cutest giggle and I called David upstairs to hear him but he stopped right when David came in the room. But know we have a lot more giggles with him yet to come. Miles put himself to sleep for the first time since he was just a few weeks old! I am so happy! Hopefully this is the begining of him putting himself to sleep and not just a night fluke.
(Tyson likes laying next to where ever Miles is. I think Tyson is trying to protect him)
