Week of January, 10, 2010

Tuesday January 12, 2010 - Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dale came over for dinner at our house. I had  to start making dinner at 3:30 for our 7 p.m. dinner because I was not sure if Miles would let me make dinner all at once. Grandpa Dale was making Miles laugh with his funny faces, Miles loved it!!!

Wednesday, January 13, 2010 - Talia and Raegan came over today to hang out with me and Miles. We had not seen Talia in awhile so it was good to catch up. Uncle Adam also came by for a little while and we played Uno. Miles was talking a lot during Uno. Miles always enjoys spending time with Uncle Adam and Adam loves playing with his nephew. For dinner we went to our neighbors house, Megan and Winston. We put a blanket on the floor for Miles to lay down on and he talked the whole time during dinner. Megan commented that her and Winston never got to eat dinner together when their daugher Mackenzie was 3 months old. I think Miles enjoys hearing his own voice.

Friday, January 16, 2010 - Miles would not take his afternoon nap, but as soon as I put him in the car to go visit his Uncle Marcus he went right to sleep. Miles and I went go to visit Uncle Marcus at his new job in Mission Valley. We went to Subway for lunch. Then we went over to Gina's house and spent time hanging out at her place. Gina gave Miles his Hanukah gift which was his first set of mariachis :) They play in Spanigh and English so Miles can practice his bilingual skills. Miles had a long day out from 12:45 to 8 pm.

Saturday, January 17, 2010 - David went to the gym with Steve Lewis and Miles and I went on a walk with Leigh Lewis :) Miles did pretty well on the walk except towards the end when he got a little cranky. I think he just wanted to be fed, so when we got back to Leigh's I fed him and Steve got to meet Miles for the first time. After we got home, I was going to give Miles a quick change before we headed out to the beach with Tyson for a nice walk but then Miles peed while I was changing him so I had to give him a bath. David was cleaning out the sink for Miles bath so I put him in his crib naked waiting for his bath to get ready and then he peed again in his crib. So I wrapped him up in a blanket and fed him while David was still washing the dishes before we could put the bath tub in the sink and Miles peed AGAIN in the blanket. I should have just put a diaper on him before his bath. The whole family including Tyson, were going to go to the beach but with the cold weather coming in we decided to go to the dog park instead. This was Miles first time at the dog park and he nearly slept the whole time of course :) Everyone enjoyed themselves and we came back home for dinner and a movie at home.
